Community Outreach in collaboration with the Philippine Consulate Office, NY:
Confirmed and signed a Letter of Support for Rutgers’ Research Grant Proposal to disseminate recruitment information, with a goal towards improved understanding of the complex health issues of Filipino American women.
Signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Rutgers University School of Nursing, whereby a collaboration would be established to support the recruitment of research participants for a needs assessment survey. The focus would be women’s health, e.g., safety, pregnancy, reproductive, menopause and mental health and well-being (depression, anxiety).
This initiative, targeted in Fall 2022, would benefit PCSNJ, Inc. through its participation in a culturally informed educational projects and future interventions.
