A Journey of Service, Community, and Filipino Pride

PCSNJ Inc. Community Events Highlights | 2024–2026

By Erlinda B. Juliano, President, 2024–2026

As I come to the end of my term as President of the Philippine Community Center of South New Jersey, Inc. (PCSNJ Inc.), I look back with a heart full of gratitude, pride, and appreciation.

The past two years have been a meaningful journey of service, fellowship, learning, and community building. Together, we embraced our commitment to Empower • Initiate • Collaborate • Serve, creating opportunities for our members and strengthening our connection to the Filipino-American community.

Our 2024–2026 Community Events Highlights represent more than just activities on a calendar. Each event reflects the dedication of our officers, council members, volunteers, partners, families, and community members who gave their time, talents, and hearts to PCSNJ.

From our 27th Induction Ball and 38th Anniversary, health and educational seminars, the Sergio Gasmen Memorial Lecture, and Philippine Consulate outreach, to our Halo-Halloween, Christmas Extravaganza, Parol Making Workshop, Bingo for Charity, and Memorial Prayer Service, we continued to bring people together in meaningful ways.

Our youth also remained an important part of our mission. Through the PCY engagement at the Ronald McDonald House, Filipino-American Heritage Month activities, Sinulog Filipino Display, AANHPI Month celebrations, and the Filipino Youth Awards, we encouraged the next generation to appreciate their heritage while becoming active members of our community.

We celebrated Filipino culture through music, dance, food, traditions, and fellowship. We also created opportunities to learn and grow through programs such as “Understanding Economic Inequality Through the Lens of Pagpag,” “AI, Scams & Staying Safe in a Changing World,” and our various health and educational programs.

And, of course, our Golf Tournament, Annual Meeting and Election, Mother's Day Tea Party, Father's Day Celebration, President's Luncheon, PC Seniors Christmas Party, and many other gatherings reminded us that community is built through relationships.

More Than Events—A Legacy of Service

As President, I am especially grateful for the people who stood beside me throughout this term. No president accomplishes anything alone. Every photograph in these highlights represents countless hours of planning, preparation, volunteering, collaboration, and support.

To our officers and council members, thank you for your commitment.

To our volunteers, thank you for always stepping up.

To our members, families, sponsors, partners, and friends, thank you for believing in PCSNJ and supporting our programs.

And to everyone who attended our events, shared their talents, brought their families, and helped make each gathering special—you are the heart of PCSNJ.

I am proud of what we accomplished together, but even more proud of the spirit of unity and service that continues to define this organization.

Congratulations to the New Leadership

As we welcome the 2026–2028 leadership team under President Jerome Ancheta, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes.

Congratulations, President Jerome Ancheta, and to the newly elected officers and council members!

May your leadership bring new ideas, renewed energy, and continued growth to PCSNJ Inc. May you build upon the foundation established by those who came before you while opening new doors for our members, our youth, and the broader Filipino-American community.

I wish you a successful and meaningful term.

With Gratitude

Serving as President from 2024–2026 has been both an honor and a privilege. I will always cherish the friendships, memories, challenges, accomplishments, and moments of laughter that came with this journey.

As I turn the page and pass the leadership to the next team, I do so with confidence and hope for the future of PCSNJ.

The work continues. The mission continues. And the spirit of community continues.

Thank you, PCSNJ Inc., for allowing me to serve.

With sincere gratitude and pride,

Erlinda B. Juliano
