PCY Officers Making a Difference in the Lives of Families

PCY officers volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden, NJ. Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit organization that helps and hosts families whose loved ones are undergoing medical treatment. The PCY officers Isabel Della Torre, Nolie Juliano, Roman and Zoe Fox-Ramos and Leah Ramos helped prepare and serve breakfast for 40 people. They made bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt parfait and pancakes. They were accompanied by Andrew Aquino, Paolo and Carmen DelaTorre and Reginald Ramos. The PCY learned how to cook a breakfast, cleaning up after preparing a meal while giving back to the community and families in need. It was a very rewarding experience for all the volunteers. Afterwards, they were given a tour of the facility and were invited in the future to host more events for the families.
