PCSNJ successfully hosted a movie event showing the feature film, The Master Chief. This was presented in partnership with the producer of the film who also starred as its main actor, Chris Soriano. The film follows a young Filipino sailor who is new to the US Navy. It explores the camaraderie amongst Filipino sailors as well as their challenges.
We had 44 attendees who came out to the Philippine center to enjoy the movie. This was a timely event to get the community together prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. After enjoying the movie, food and refreshments were served amongst the attendees. A good time was had by all with some attendees asking for a repeat of the movie event.
